Cali - A Colombian thief robbed an Internet café at gunpoint after checking his Facebook account on his rented computer. The dumb thief left his account open and police found his address on the computer.
According to Spanish news site El Tiempo, two men in the neighborhood of Calima, north of the city of Cali, pretended to be customers. They entered an Internet café and rented two computers. They browsed the Internet for some time. As they pretended to pay for service, they pulled out guns and robbed the café administrator of the day's cash takings.
Gizmodo reports that after the thieves got away, the cafe administrator called the police. When the police came, they discovered that one of the thieves still had his Facebook account open on the computer he rented. The police got his address from his account, arrived at his home and waited for him to come home with the loot.
Colombian police have not released the names of the thieves, but let's call them Dumb and Dumber.
