Greenwich - An accountant from Greenwich, South East London, has undergone hypnotherapy to cure his addiction to McWhinney’s pork sausages.
David Harding, who is a father of three, has recently received counselling and hypnotherapy in a desperate attempt to control his bizarre addiction.
Harding believes a day without sausages is a day wasted, and has been known to get angry at his wife when they're not on his plate.
While the 47-year-old has spent almost £2,000 ($3,271) on professional therapy, he racks up a yearly bill of around £700 ($1,144) on his 'beloved bangers'.
David's love affair began when he was five, and he has consumed at least one sausage a day ever since.
Kevin McWhinney, the Managing Director at McWhinney’s, said: "We are pleased that this gentleman likes our sausages but wish him well in his quest to control his habit."
