On June 24, the Dysfashional opened in the Berlin Haus der Kulturen der Welt (House of World Cultures). The exhibition will run until July 17.
After Luxembourg, Lausanne and Paris, the exhibition comes back to the German capital city (where it was staged for the first time) during the annual Berliner Fashion Week.
The idea of the show is to present no clothes, but "experiment with the concepts and materiality of fashion, installations that reflect the creative universe and the artistic approach of fashion designers and thereby stimulate the boundaries between fashion and art."
The opening ceremony hosted a shadow play, with the title "Bodies in Motion."
The exhibition is curated by Luca Marchetti and Emanuele Quince and it will run until July 17.
