Florida Congressman Alan Grayson, most known for his criticism of the Republicans' disapproval of health care reform, said former Vice-President Dick Cheney is a vampire.
Democratic Congressman of Florida Alan Grayson was on
MSNBC’s "Hardball" on Friday evening and criticized former Vice-President Dick Cheney’s criticism of the current administration’s handling of the war in Afghanistan, reports
CNN. “I have trouble listening to what [Cheney] says sometimes because of the blood that drips from his teeth while he's talking. But my response is this: he's just angry because the president doesn't shoot old men in the face. But by the way, when he was done speaking, did he just then turn into a bat and fly away?”
On Wednesday, Cheney stated that President Obama is afraid of making any decision in Afghanistan, according to
CNN. “The White House must stop dithering while America's armed forces are in danger. Make no mistake, signals of indecision out of Washington hurt our allies and embolden our adversaries.” He further added that since the administration is indecisive in the Middle East that they have weakened relationships with key allies.
Press Secretary Robert Gibbs retorted by saying that the President is acting responsibly to the military and the American people. “I think we've all seen what happens when someone doesn't take that responsibility seriously.”
According to
Politico, "Hardball" host Chris Matthews concluded the segment by calling Grayson “Captain Cajones.”
