story of Shepp, a German Shepherd that was left to die at an abandoned home. Daniel Luna, 44, and Norma Luna, 45, have been arrested and charged with animal cruelty.
In a local report that explains the limited details of the arrest, the two people who are alleged to have been responsible for the horrific conditions that led to Shepp's death are being held behind bars on $500 US bond each.
This crime is considered a misdemeanor and punishable by up to one year in prison.
