According to two Republicans, John McCain is pulling out of Michigan. With just a month left in the race to the Presidency, McCain has decided to focus on Wisconsin, Ohio and Florida.
The surprise move is because the state is thought to be a sure bet for Obama.
An event that was planned for next week in Plymouth, Michigan for McCain has been canceled.
From this point forward the McCain campaign will not be dropping mail there or airing TV spots.
Obama has no intentions of ignoring the state. He is quoted by
Yahoo:
"We will continue to fight for every vote in Michigan because middle class families there just cannot afford more of the same," said Obama spokesman Bill Burton.
