Hurricane Kyle is expected to hit New Brunswick later today or tomorrow, the storm has already caused considerable damage in Prince Edward Island.
It has been raining for several hours but only lightly. It is quiet even the usual Saturday morning traffic is spares. It feels as if everyone is waiting.
Hurricane Kyle , or for now Tropical Storm Kyle
is coming exactly when is not yet know but sometime within the next 24 hours, that is certain or as certain as weather gets.
Here in Northern New Brunswick we are not likely to feel the brunt of the hurricane's might but strong rains and heavy winds will come.
The 100 year old maple in the backyard will take a beating and the leaves which are just turning reds and golds will be scattered all over by the storm's end.
I'll post updates as Kyle moves in.
