Ohio drug warriors have recently made a bust that led to the confiscation of over 100 pounds of the most valuable marijuana ever documented.
To be exact, 104 pounds of marijuana were discovered and police estimated the value at $4.7 million.
In case you were keeping track, that amounts to over $2,820 per ounce!
This amount more than quintuples High Times estimate for high-end marijuana in Ohio which is a mere $400.
It also blows the STRIDE estimate of a measley $200 in 2003 completely out of the water.
Not only did the officers bust a trafficker of high-end marijuana, but they also managed to discover the worlds most valuable marijuana. They truly do deserve a medal for this amazing feat.
It has not yet been reported that anyone has actually smoked this new breed of super premium cannabis, but maybe thats because the police have already managed to confiscate it all.
This new marijuana just barely beats the previous record held in Philadelphia where cops discovered marijuana that was worth over $100 per joint.
The local news agency rounded the value up to $5 million in their story, but the Chicago Tribune has decided to run the story without the cops estimated value of the confiscated drugs. Maybe they were a little suspicious of the record breaking claim?
The alleged trafficker in being held on a bail of $2 million.
