An outlaw giraffe has recently staged an unprecedented jailbreak from an Amsterdam circus. He also freed many of his fellow captives.
According to the AP:
Amsterdam police say 15 camels, two zebras and an undetermined number of llamas and potbellied swine briefly escaped from a traveling Dutch circus after a giraffe kicked a hole in their cage.
The breakout occurred at 5:30 AM, but the animals were discovered several hours later while wandering through a nearby neighborhood.
Just imagine waking up in the morning and seeing a caravan of camels, followed by a by a herd of llamas and pigs, walking past your window. You might just believe you were hallucinating, or even stuck in some kind of a weird dream.

Or even better: Imagine diligently working in the fifth floor of an office building when you see a conspicuous giraffe peer into the window. How would that effect your day?
The animals were eventually herded back to the circus with the aid of professional trainers and dogs, but not before the townspeople fed a couple of the mischievous creatures.
I just hope they fixed the cages first!
Disclaimer: The video has nothing to do with the article, but giraffe fights are just plain awesome!
