"The goal of WarcraftMillionaire.com has always been to develop a complete in-game view of the economy and its inner workings, so that a player can both understand and take advantage of every possible gold making method available."
Brad Johnson, the world's first World of Warcraft (WoW) millionaire, has released a product of his invention called Warcraft Millionaire: The Blueprint to One Million Gold, which the Daddy Warbucks of WoW calls the “complete gold making solution for the world’s most popular MMORPG”.
WoW, which is an online fantasy role-playing game that has its roots in J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings books and the role playing game Dungeons and Dragons, has over 10 million subscriptioned players spanning the globe and is the planet's most popular MMORPG (Massively Multiuser Online Role Playing Game). Johnson has put together what he finds to be the hottest gold-making strategies, ideas, and techniques relating to the WoW economy and compiled them in his guide.
Players of WoW will appreciate the fact that Johnson includes such things as auction house guides, grinding guides for Azeroth and Outland, a 1-60 Azeroth Gold Guide, and a 60-70 Outland Gold Guide in his book and media kit.
According to Johnson:
"Friends and fellow players have provided substantial feedback on gold making in the game, and we have strived to create and offer something more than a simple list of gold making strategies. Rather, the goal of WarcraftMillionaire.com has always been to develop a complete in-game view of the economy and its inner workings, so that a player can both understand and take advantage of every possible gold making method available."
There have been some issues with online companies that sell "WoW gold". According to some research, there are tens of thousands of "gold farms" in places around the world where WoW players treat the game like a profession, playing 10 or even 12 hours a day and collecting gold purchase proceeds for the WoW gold-trading companies. Buying WoW gold is also considered a violation of the MMORPG's ethics code and players who get caught face being banned.
However, previously there have been tips released on how to legally make oneself rich with gold in WoW. One "retired" WoW gaming fanatic recommends that people get hold of Luke's Gold Guide.
This same retiree also gives out some free gold-gleaning secrets. These include:
Learn what items make the most gold and know the best area to find them.
Pick up a good profession.
Master the auction house.
Develop an effective gold farming route with the least amount of downtime possible.
Max out your backpacks so you can carry as much as possible.
Make friends with rich players.
