Web designer, Patrick Moberg, 21, was love struck after he saw his 'dream girl' on a subway Sunday night. He lost her in the crowd when the subway stopped and they both got off. He then designed a website devoted to finding this girl.
The
website,
www.nygirlofmydreams.com, included a picture he drew of the girl along with his phone number with a plea to all observers to help him find the girl.
Within hours Moberg's email inbox was overflowing with e-mails as well as his phone's voicemail. He had many women who admitted they weren't the girl but requested that he pick them rather than continue looking for his dream girl.
"Some people said I'm not the girl but you're so adorable, pick me instead."
Tuesday night he was contacted by his dream girl's friend who sent him a picture to confirm that they were talking about the same girl.
"Found Her! Seriously!" a notice on his Web site said.
His dream girl was given a name on Thursday, Camille Hayton, an intern at magazine BlackBook from Melbourne, Australia, who also lives in Brooklyn.
"This is crazy. I can't believe it's happening," Hayton, 21, told the New York Post.
Now that Moberg has found his dream girl he has removed his contact information from the website and told everyone that he will do no more interviews.
"Unlike all the romantic comedies and bad pop songs, you'll have to make up your own ending for this."
